Cemetery 6
Note that this is a full one second exposure, with the camera steadied on
my open window sill. My car is completely stopped but there is slight vibration from the idling engine.
Darkness is falling as I slowly drive around a Cemetery loop and stop at different sections, a steady rain has ended at this point and my lens is clean.
No flash is used in this picture as I am very near a bright streetlight, just out of the picture to the right. A second and much more distant streetlight is far in the background.
I see nothing unusual or strange at the time and drive on but on pictures reviewing later this one stands out.
On the left side a bushy mass seems to have morphed into a kind of hybrid dog or wolf, with a happy people eating sneer on its face! Looking straight at my lens it appears to be trying to move stealthily forward.
(Beware the bushes!)
On the right side side, in better light and not so easily explained, a fully standing demon type figure seems to have emerged from the large bush behind it. With a short horn on forehead, a torso and two long legs that reach all the way to the ground. One leg blocks the tombstone behind it, the other leg is semi-transparent.
With enlarging right arm and hand it seems to be performing a rather rude act upon itself, or perhaps has just gruesomely impaled itself with a long rod???
Are both figures pareidolia in the same picture? Or is it really Cemetery night fright?
